| CBS Sunday Morning, a national news program known for an emphasis on the arts, aired a segment on Monette trumpets. Dave Monette was interviewed at length, with many shots of instrument production at the Portland shop. Dave was also seen working with Wynton Marsalis at Lincoln Center, as was the Israel Philharmonic trumpet section under the direction of Zubin Mehta. Israel Philharmonic principal trumpet Andrew Balio was interviewed talking about how Monette instruments inspired him to come back to music after a four year absence. | |
