The Development of Monette Trumpet Mouthpieces

As Monette instruments have evolved and have been built in a wider range of weights, mouthpieces of a correspondingly heavier weight have been needed to complement and balance the instruments. The progression of Monette trumpet mouthpiece models can be seen in the accompanying photos, with the most efficient and advanced design being the integral mouthpiece RAJA instruments first introduced in 1990.
