| Our long-time client and friend Joe Utley inspired the
latest collaboration between the Monette shop and Portland goldsmith Tami
Dean, with a FLUMPET designed to be the crown jewel of the Utley Foundation
collection.
This instrument is decorated with saw-piercing, inlaid
precious and semi-precious stones, engraving, and actual miniature replicas
of historical instuments, all representing the range and diversity of Joe's
expansive collection.
Just before the first notes are played, Dave and Tami
take a moment to enjoy the visuals of the completed new instrument.
Monette co-workers Dan Haswell, Travis Stefan and
Dean Willoughby help Dave and Tami celebrate the completion of Joe's instrument!
