Jazz at Lincoln Center Grand Opening

Wynton Marsalis' dream come true - the new $128 million Jazz at Lincoln Center facility in New York City is now open for music!

Dave Monette recently attended the grand opening of the new Jazz at Lincoln Center facility on Columbus Circle in Manhattan, October 18, 2004. The event was a private concert for donors and friends, and was broadcast live on PBS TV and on NPR as part of the ongoing "Live at Lincoln Center" series.

The new state-of-the-art jazz facility features three performance halls, a recording studio, classrooms and a museum of jazz history! The concert and the new facility has received rave reviews, and a quick tour of their WEB site or a visit in person will demonstrate why.
