Royal Swedish Navy Band with their Monette mouthpieces! Portland jazz artist Thara Memory was recently featured on the cover of "Ourtown" magazine for the arts.  Thara is well known around the Pacific Northwest as a jazz recording artist and teacher, and the last year he has used a Monette B993 B-flat trumpet. Dan Haswell gives the thumbs up on the batch of bells he just completed.  Derrill Farley visited our shop last month and ordered an AJNA II B-flat trumpet.  Thanks Derrill! Long time client Dave Foley visited last month to pick up a few mouthpieces.  Dave always impresses us with his musical skill!  Dave, you are always welcome here!	The entire shop crew with client Ravi Best during his visit last year.  Ravi is sounding great on his AJNA II.  Ravi has been playing lead trumpet on the late Lester Bowie's Brass Fantasy Band, and toured extensively with them up until Lester's death.  Ravi is now playing the solo trumpet chair on the Broadway musical "SWING," which is an on-stage part that is totally interactive with the dancers and singers.  Several times during the show, Ravi is front/center stage, playing trades with singers. Washington State University's Trumpet Ensemble raises the roof in our shop.  Monette client David Turnbull conducted the group and they sounded excellent! Joe Porter stopped by earlier this year for a fitting.  He settled on the B993.  Thanks Joe! Monette client Klaus Frank visited us early last year and we just found the roll of film we took while he was here!  Klaus picked up his new AJNA II B-flat trumpet during his stay.	Client Alcedrick Todd solos with his 149XL  in front of the Glenn Miller Orchestra on tour.
